We got our first "big" snow of the year today! We probably got 4 inches and it was great snow for sledding! We had a lazy morning in our jammies and had cinammon rolls for breakfast. The boys loved sitting by the window and watching the snow fall.
Jim worked from home downstairs while the boys and I played upstairs.
Here is Andrew's idea of entertainment on a snow day...
He was pretty proud of his toliet paper tower. ;)
He shortly realized it was taller than he was. HA!
Anyway, after Andrew laid down for his nap, Christian and I decided to head across the street to the golf course and go sledding!
We had so much fun! Jim took Christian last year while I stayed with Andrew. I was so glad it was my turn, haha! We went down the hill several times, including one "wipeout" where we both ended up with snow covered faces. Great memories!
We headed back to the house and baked brownies and made hot chocolate. Nothing is better than hot brownies and hot cocoa on a snow day!
Andrew enjoyed his ricecake. Don't worry, I did let him have a little bite of brownie too!
But he actually handed part of the brownie back to me and went back to munching on his ricecake. Seriously??!!! My child??!! :)
Our yummy brownies! They may not be "Nancy brownies" (aka the BEST brownies in the world! Nancy works at ARVEST with me), but they were good!
After Jim was done with work, he did come upstairs and have some playtime with Andrew!
Andrew is a complete daddy's boy. He goes and stands by the door in the garage right around the time Jim gets home from work and says, "I want dad" over and over. Pretty darn cute.
Hope everyone stayed warm and safe during your snow day! Looks like we have another one tomorrow! I think we may have to get out the Wii!

Andrew thought it was so funny! They even made the onion volcano make choo choo noises for him! So cute! Now if I could only cook that way at home??? Maybe not a good idea...;)
