Halloween 2013!

 This year I decided to dress up as my long time celebrity idol, Audrey Hepburn!

It was an easy costume for me since I already had a black dress so all I needed was a tiara ($2.97 at WMT) some great costume jewelry (thanks to good Dillard's sales), long black gloves and a cigarette stick (that had to be special ordered online). Haha!

 My friend Dara decide to host another couples Halloween party this year. So Jim and I went as George Peppard and Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's.

 Jim and Christian have the tradition of carving one of our pumpkins each year. Christian draws the design and Jim's helps with the cutting. As you can see in the picture, Andrew was not fond of the smell of the pumpkin guts. HAHA!

 This year the boys wanted to be Super Mario Brothers! I thought it was a really cute idea and they had lots of fun with it!

 On Halloween, Pops and GoGo came up for the trick or treating at Jim's office.

I came up with the perfect candy sack for my costume. On our honeymoon in NYC, Jim and I did go to Tiffany's but did not buy anything. However, I really wanted a Tiffany and Co bag so I asked for one. I knew this keepsake would come in handy one day....13 years later!

 The boys had fun trick or treating and had a big haul of candy!

 We even went around our neighborhood after dinner!

Happy Halloween!

Dixie Stampede!

 In October, we took the boys for an overnight trip to Branson to go see Dixie Stampede!

 We stopped for lunch at Mel's Diner with the singing waiters and waitresses!

 The boys were excited to see the big show of the North vs the South!

 The show was so fun! We had GREAT seats! The boys love sleeping in the same bed when we stay at hotels. I'm sure that won't last forever, but they are so sweet!

On the way home, we went to Lambert's Cafe to enjoy their country cooking and the "throwed" rolls! What fun memories!

KNWA Super Weather Kid!

 This year, we signed up Christian to be a Super Weather Kid on KNWA. This program picks kiddos to come to the KNWA studio and do the weather report on live TV. Christian has always enjoyed weather so we signed him up! Thanks to Dan Skoff for having us!

 And apparently he is a natural. He was so comfortable on air and doing the interview and 7 day forecast that we could not even believe how well he did! 

 When Christian went back to school the next day, he was a like a celebrity! So many of his teachers and friends saw him on TV. His principal even played it at the school assembly for all to see. 

We are so proud of our Super Weather Kid!

Celebrating Pops and Will's birthdays!

Let me start by saying how much I LOVE the picture of Will and Alicia above. They are so sweet and cute together! We went to Van Buren in October for a combined birthday celebration for Will and Pops. We really missed not having Kimberly there to celebrate her birthday as well. But we are thankful for FaceTime that allows us to visit!

More Razorback football fun!

 So our football season this year has not been as good as we hoped for. However, we still have lots of fun going to the games and meeting up with family and friends. Our cousin Rodney brought up his smoker and prepared a tailgating feast for us all! Go Saucy Snout!
