Spring Break 2012!

We had such a fun Spring Break! Christian wanted to go see his cousins in Plano, TX so we decided to spend four nights down in Dallas for lots of fun!

Our first night, we met Kimberly and Wrenn with Robert and Elizabeth for dinner at their favorite pizza place!

Christian wanted to sit by Uncle Wrenn!
We had a great dinner with the Wootens!

Our first day, we took the boys to the Children's Aquarium at Fair Park!

The boys wore their matching warmup suits that GoGo got them!

Kimberly, Robert and Elizabeth joined us!
Pops and GoGo too!

Christian loved helping Elizabeth get ready for her big outing!

All the kiddos at the Aquarium!

We also went to the Planet Shark exhibit too!
Christian recently did a report on Sharks for school. He made a 100%!

We had lunch at their cafe in Fair Park!

Andrew liked sitting with Pops!

Elizabeth looking so cute!

Andrew too!

Christian loves his little niece. He never wanted to leave her side. So precious!

That evening, we went to the Wootens for visiting with some family---Aunt Jean, Ann Elizabeth and Robert (Ryles). Also, Uncle Hal was in town from Santa Fe. We all enjoyed getting to see each other!

The next day we went to LEGOLAND Discovery Center!

Christian was SO excited waiting in the line that he could barely stand still. ;)

The first thing we did when we went through the doors was ride the Kingdom Quest ride!
Christian sat with Pops!

We all rode the ride and had to shoot the "bad guy" Lego peeps and get points. Here is a picture taken by the LegoLand camera on the ride of all of us!

HAHA! We all look so serious and concentrating on shooting the bad guys!

Andrew spent most of his time in Duplo Village sliding down this slide! He loved it!

Next, they went to the city building center to make their own cities out of Legos. Then they could hit a button to make an "earthquake" and the table would shake and knock them down again.
The boys thought it was a lot of fun!

After a couple hours in LegoLand, we went to Rainforest Cafe for lunch!

The boys enjoyed walking around and watching the animated animals!

We HAD to order the volcano dessert too!

After lunch, Andrew and Jim went back to the hotel so Andrew could nap. Christian, GoGo and I went back into LegoLand to let Christian play and explore more!

They had a big room full of buildings and downtown Dallas made of Legos!
It was really cool!

Christian LOVED LegoLand!

We walked around the Grapevine Mills Mall for awhile then Christian wanted to ride the train around the mall.

GoGo and I did too! :)

We went back to Kimberly and Wrenn's for more time with the cousins!

On Wednesday, Jim got a tee time at The Tribute golf course!

The boys and I dropped off Jim and went to the Stonebriar Mall to explore!

Christian wanted to go to Barnes and Noble to get some Star Wars books. I found some sticker books for the boys to enjoy on the trip home too!

This mall was huge and even had an ice skating rink with some kids playing hockey!

Our last night in Dallas, we headed to the big Dallas Auto Show at the Convention Center downtown!

It was so fun to get to check out all the new 2012 cars!
The boys thought it was a car playground! Well, Jim and I did too. We are car lovers!

Andrew loved the Dodge Caravan...like his Pops!

Jim and Christian with a $225,000 Mercedes!

These boys were ready to do a test drive!

My personal fav...the new Auston Martin. Nice.

They even had a classic car area too!

They even had some area police officers on site with a police car. Christian joked that this would be the only time he was be in the BACK of a police car. ;)

We had a great night at the car show!

These boys had a BLAST on their Spring Break! They are great travelers and behave so well when we go out and about exploring new places! They loved getting back to the hotel to snuggle together too! Thanks to the Wootens for letting us come over for visits and Pops and GoGo for joining us at the Aquarium and LegoLand! It was a wonderful trip and the boys can't wait to explore Texas again!
