Jim and I took a weekend trip to Kansas City, just the two of us. It was the first time we had been to KC without the boys since before Christian was born! We were so excited to see our friends Pat and Stacy and meet their new baby boy, Nathan!
We spent the day eating and shopping on the Country Club Plaza. Then we headed to Pat and Stacy's house to spend the evening with them. It was so fun to see them as parents and for me to get my "baby fix" by holding Nathan. He is a beautiful baby boy!
Stacy's parents watched Nathan for a couple hours so we could all go out to eat dinner at The Melting Pot. We had a great evening catching up with our friends and enjoying yummy food in KC!
We headed home has soon as we woke up on Sunday morning since we were missing the boys already! Thanks Pat and Stacy for letting us come visit!
