December snow!

These boys are always ready for some fun! Before Christmas, we got a big snow storm that closed school for almost a week! The first day we headed out in the almost 9 inches for some sledding!

Christian was so excited that we reached the top of the golf course hill before anyone else. FRESH POWDER!

Poor little Andrew was barely able to see with his hat and the snow blowing so hard! HA!
That and the snow was up to his knees!

But they had a great time...and so did I!

 Andrew loves his snowman jammies!

With so many snow days, we stayed busy with lots of activities like making robots....

 and baking! LOTS of baking!

Christian was excited to move his "office" into the guestroom in front of the window since our Christmas tree had to go where it used to be. I think his "window office" is going to be a permanent fixture. :)

Did I mention all the snack making???!!!

We finally ventured out into the roads to get out of the house and visit Santa Claus!
We had the place to ourselves! Santa was so nice that he even showed the boys pictures of the workshop back at the North Pole!

Christian asked for a remote control helicopter and Andrew asked for Monster Truck Stadium!

The roads really did not improve over the snow days since the temperature stayed below freezing.
That and the never really treated the roads and did not plow much.

We stayed entertained watching all our favorite Christmas movies which inspired me to take a "Snow Day Selfie" in my new favorite holiday shirt. Looking forward to Christmas!
