Meg and Nora Kate's visit to Arkansas!

My friend Meg and her baby Nora Kate flew from Michigan to Arkansas for a visit. It was great to spend some time with them! They even came and stayed the night with us!

Today, I put together a little "Sip and See" for them at Sweetbay Coffee Co. in Fort Smith.

Craft fair!

Last weekend was the big NWA Craft Fair weekend! Last Saturday, I headed to War Eagle with GoGo, Susan and Hope. We had a great time! The weather was beautiful and there were SO many people at War Eagle that the line to cross over the bridge was backed up to the tents! After War Eagle, we drove back to Rogers to go to the craft fair at John Q Hammons Center. The only things I bought were food! Haha! Bread mix, dipping oils, fudge, etc.
I look forward to seeing all the cool stuff but the food is the best!

Sunday after church, Jim and I took the boys to the Spanker Creek Craft Fair (which is right by our house). We walked around enjoying the wonderful weather but its all about the yummy food! We ate jumbo corn dogs, french fries on a stick, chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick...it goes on and on!



Christian loves to ride this "train" that is pulled by a tractor and the cars are made of old barrels.

Can't wait until next fall for craft fair....maybe I will try a deep fried Snickers bar. ;)

Pumpkin patch!

This past Saturday, Jim and I took the boys to the Bentonville Square Farmers Market and the pumpkin patch!

It was a beautiful day!

Sip and See...

This past Saturday, Ann (aka GoGo) hosted a Sip and See party for Kimberly and baby Robert.

Such a cute idea!
Pops and GoGo drove down to Texas to pick up Kimberly and baby Robert and take them to Van Buren for a week to visit. Wrenn is working nights so it would have been hard on Kimberly to have to keep quiet with the baby while Wrenn slept all day.

He said he had a great day of running errands and "testing out cars" (aka Pops letting Christian push every button in his cars). They even got the ol' pink Jeep started and took it for a spin...

On Sunday evening, the family came up for dinner at MiMi's Cafe to celebrate Pops, Kimberly and Will's birthdays this month!
But before dinner, we had some fun with the boys. Jim and I took them to the Promenade to walk around and have some fun!

Home repairs complete!

A little update on our home...

This past week, the crew finished the last bit of repairs to our home after the water damage.
Only thing left pending is getting our gutter covers on. We continued irrigation from the backyard and installed it around to our front yard. We also decided to rock one side of our house. It will save lots of time and money (not having to tear up the driveway to bring the irrigation to other side, no extra water cost and no need to mow). And honestly, it looks good to me. Then Friday, they laid the Zoysias sod.
It all looks great!

Finally, I took a picture of one of the drains where we had the boys make hand prints.
Dated 9-23-10...our 10th anniversary. ;) How special to always be able to remember Christian and Andrew's hands at that time! Thanks to Pops for allowing us to have Bruce, Will and his construction crew help with the repairs! We are SO happy to never have water in our house again!
