Robert and Elizabeth's Birthday Bash!

Last week, we headed to Texas to celebrate Robert's 2nd birthday and Elizabeth's 1st birthday!

Christian and Andrew loved getting to spend time with their cousins too!

Kansas City Weekend July 2012

A few weeks ago, Jim and I took the boys to Kansas City to visit our friends Patrick and Stacy.

We went to Crown Center, a Kansas City Royals baseball game and The Legends. 

We were glad to get to spend some time with our friends and take the boys to some fun places!

 We can't go to Kansas City without stopping at Fritz's Restaurant for lunch! 

 Crown Center had a dinosaur fun play area for the kids! We ran around it for a little while but it was crazy crowded and hot so we headed to Pat and Stacy's house for a nice afternoon visit in the air conditioning! HA!

 Then we all headed to a Kansas City Royals baseball game! 

We took Christian to his first Royals baseball game when he turned 4.

 We lucked out to go up to the ticket window at the stadium and buy some tickets in the shade. 

Even though it was hot, there was a slight breeze in the shade so it made sitting and watching the game enjoyable.

 The next day, we went to the Legends, which is a large shopping, dining and entertainment area.

We took the boys to eat lunch at T-Rex dinosaur restaurant! 

 

 Lunch was yummy and we got to do a little shopping too!

We had a great time in Kansas City! Thanks Pat and Stacy for letting us stay with you!!!

Robert and Elizabeth in Van Buren!

Christian was so excited that Robert, Elizabeth and Aunt Kimberly came from Texas for his birthday celebration in Van Buren! All the cousins had a great time playing together!

The day we arrived in Van Buren, we had lunch at Boomerang Diner in Fort Smith with Pops and GoGo.

 The kids meals were served in hot rod car containers. Too cute!

On Saturday morning before Christian's birthday party, we headed to Creekmore Park to let the kids play and ride the train!

 Elizabeth loved having her cousin Christian push her in the swing!

 The kids loved it! But it got HOT so we headed back to Pops and GoGo's house after the train ride!

 Andrew and Jim enjoyed the train too!

While the little ones took naps, Christian enjoyed swimming and jumped off the diving board for the first time that weekend! He loves swimming!

After naps, the kiddos had fun playing! Elizabeth gets so excited when she takes her socks off!

 We found these glasses and put them on Elizabeth. She wasn't so sure about them. ;) 

 I thought she looked like she was pushing the paparazzi away! ;)

We had such a fun time in Van Buren visiting with the Wootens for Christian's birthday. The boys were worn out. ;) Can't wait to head to Texas to see them soon!
