Vegas 2012

This year we enjoyed a couples trip to Vegas with our friends The Youngs and The Beards!

We had such a good time! It was Brandon and Susan's first time to go to Vegas. Being with them on their first trip to Vegas was a blast. Susan picked the places we went to dinner each night! 

They were all sooo good! Here are a few (or more!) of my favorite pictures from our trip!

When we arrived at the airport, I had a limo waiting for us!

 The first day, we walked down the strip and explored many of the hotels.

 We had lunch at the famous Hash House A GoGo at Imperial Palace. I shared their Chicken and Waffles with Susan. They were delicious!

 We checked out several stores like Jimmy Choo, H & M and several shops at Casears but did not buy anything. I did not have room in my carry on. :)

 We enjoyed some pool time at NYNY. The pool was located right under their rollercoaster!

 That night, we had dinner at Bouchon in the Venetican

 

 On Wednesday, we checked out of NYNY and headed to the Wynn resort. 

 Our rooms and our view at the Wynn were spectacular!

  

We ate lunch at Senor Frogs at Treasure Island!

 

 We had dinner at Alize at the top of the Palms Wednesday night. Then we went to the Ghost Bar with the amazing view of Vegas on the 55th floor!

 Thursday, Jim played the Wynn Golf Course. The girls and I went to the half price ticket booth to find tickets to a show and went shopping. Brandon and Zach went to an atomic science museum and In and Out Burger. :)

 Thursday night, we had dinner at Diego in the MGM Grand then went to Brad Garrett's Comedy Club!

 We got our tickets for half price and they were general admission so we snagged the front row. I could actually sit on the stage!

 The comedians were HILARIOUS and I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life!

It was so fun!

The last day, the girls and I went to the spa and we had a relaxing day at the Wynn before heading home. We had such a great trip and a good time with our friends! Hope we can do it again in a few years! :) VEGAS 2015???

Family Vacation to Great Wolf Lodge!

While we were in Texas visiting family and celebrating our niece and nephew's birthdays, we decided to extend our stay at the Great Wolf Lodge! It was a great place to take the kiddos and enjoy something more exciting than just a "plain" pool for the summer! They had a huge indoor waterpark with kiddie pools and slides, a wave pool, water guns, lazy river and MORE water slides. The boys had a BLAST! And so did I! ;)

 Our room had a balcony with a view of the outdoor waterpark!

 

 

Grapevine, TX is really close to DFW so we could see the planes taking off and landing all day!

 Part of the hotel room had a kids area with bunk beds and their own TV.

 It was called the Wolf Den!

Pops and GoGo, Grandmother, Wrenn, Kimberly, Robert and Elizabeth met us for dinner on the property. We had fun time!

 After dinner, we took the boys to the sweet shop for dessert and enjoyed it in our room!

 

After dessert, we went to the lobby for their StoryTime presentation!

 

 

 The next morning, we had breakfast with the characters at Camp Critter!

 

 

That morning we played in the indoorwater park then spent the afternoon at the outdoor waterpark!

We had a great time during our stay at Great Wolf Lodge!

We stayed one more night in Allen, TX and Jim enjoyed going to Top Golf!

On our way home, we had lunch at Western Sizzlin and finally hit our 5th stamp on our card to get Christian his cap! He was excited!

 We always have fun in Texas! Until next time!
