Field Trip to the Gentry Safari Zoo!

 Andrew's preschool class took a field trip to the Gentry Zoo and I was so excited to go with him!

I drove on my own to Gentry but then got on board the church bus to ride around and see all the animals with Andrew!

And of course I had to get a picture of the peacock! It was great weather and a fun day! Andrew slept the whole way home from the zoo! I'm sure he was dreaming lions, tigers and bears oh my! HA!

Fashion Show Fundraiser!

 September we had a fun girls night out at a fundraiser for CFF, The Walk This Way Fashion Show. It was held at Metroplex in Rogers. 

 

 The event was packed and the food was below par, but we still had a fun time checking out the silent auction items and seeing all the fashions on the runway!

Raingutter Regatta!

 This fall, Christian participated in his cub scout Raingutter Regatta competition. This event is similiar to the traditional Pinewood Derby, however, it involves the boys designing their own boats. 

Christian decided on a patriotic theme with red, white and blue colors!

 He was very proud of his boat!

 The event was held during the Bella Vista Hay Days festival. They had lots of games and activities for the kiddos! Christian even had the chance to dunk his principal, Mr. Young. 

After all the competition was over, Christian received an award in the design category! He was so excited and proud!

First Friday on the Bentonville Square!

 The first Friday of each month in the warm months, the Bentonville Square hosts a festival of sorts with booths, food and entertainment. It is always fun to walk around checking out the vendor items, trying new food booths and watching the performers on the outdoor stage.

 Christian was lucky enough to get the chance to push the Chickfila cow around on a tricycle. You never know what kind of fun we may get to have at First Friday!

My favorite food truck is Kind Kitchen. Their burritos are so yummy and made fresh when you order them. SOOO good. First Fridays have become a regular "gig" for us each month!

Andrew's First Day of Tiny Tots 4's program!

 Andrew started back to preschool after the Labor Day holiday. He is in the 4 year old program and goes 3 mornings a week. His teacher Ms. Crystal is really sweet and Andrew was so excited to see all his friends again!

 So while Andrew was at his first day back to school, my friend Tricia and I went got Starbucks, shopped at Target and went to our favorite Zumba class!

I was super excited I found this cute peacock t-shirt! HA!

Andrew had a great day at school too!

Razorback Football!

 We took the boys to the first Razorback football game of the season! There was a lot of excitement about our new coach, Bret Bielema, this year.

 

Razorback football game wore out Andrew. GO HOGS!

Naturals baseball...Suite Style!

 What a great view of the field right?! Thanks to a friend I know through my NWAMotherlode contacts, we scored free tickets to David Glass's own suite at ARVEST Ballpark. Thanks Carrie!

 Andrew was SO excited to catch a foul ball that he stood like this through most of the game.

 See?! Poor guy never caught one but one of the other suite guests gave him a ball. ;)

Strike even came to the suite to visit us! What a fun night and great memories with the boys!
