Meeting the Morgans!

 A couple weeks ago, our family made a 24 hour trip down to Plano, Texas! Our cousins, The Morgans were visiting Dallas and we had yet to meet all of their kiddos. We were so excited to get to meet Sledge and Katherine's children along with visiting all the other family! It was a special weekend!

 We celebrated Pops's birthday at Kimberly's house that weekend too!

 Christian LOVES holding babies! But I think the idea of holding two at once made him a little nervous. ;) 

 Christian just wanted to hold Maggie and Alice the whole time! He even gave them their bottles!

Our 12th Anniversary!

Jim and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary last month! September 23rd still tops the charts as one of the best days of my life! I am so blessed to be married to my best friend who has become the best dad to our sweet boys! 

We celebrated with a quiet and relaxing dinner at Basil's Cafe. Just the two of us. It was a nice treat.

We always get each other anniversary cards and a music CD for our anniversary dinner date gifts. 

This year, I got Jim the new Dave Matthews Band CD and Jim bought me the new Alanis Morissette CD. Yep, we still buy CDs and then download them to our iTunes. We are still "old fashioned" that way. ;) This year I was able to get all of our wedding pictures from our wedding photographer. I had to have the negatives changed over to digital format, but it was so worth it. It is nice to have all of our wedding pictures on a CD and be able to view, share and store them forever! 

To the best dozen years of my life! I love you Jim!

WPS!

 Or so I thought. ;) Our football season was not off to a very good start this year. 

We have not played well and our coach is not the best in the SEC, that's for sure.

But no matter what, our family will always be Hog fans!

We enjoyed the first game this season and took the boys to tailgate and go to the game.

 We arrived in "The Pit" just in time to see the coach and players walk into the stadium!

We took the boys to the Alumni House for the first time. The game was HOT but the boys had fun!

Jim and I also went to the Alabama game on our own while the boys played with Bopie. ;)

 Our cousin Rodney was cooking up great food for his tailgate at The Gardens. 

He even had a signature drink...A Bloody Mary with BBQ rub and a sausage and pork rind garnish. 

Nice.

It was a little rainy that day so I wore rain boots and had to put on our ponchos as we walked up to the stadium but we still enjoyed tailgating with our family!

 Even though its been a rough season, we still LOVE OUR HOGS!

Andrew's first day of Tiny Tots preschool!

This fall, Andrew started 3 year old preschool. He did start until after Labor Day and we have been super busy with school, swim lessons for both boys, cub scouts, etc. that I have not had a chance to blog much. Andrew goes to Tiny Tots preschool (same preschool Christian attended) and has Mrs. Misty for his teacher! He was SOOOO excited! He said, "I go to classroom like Christian does!" So stinkin' cute.

He was so proud of his backpack that GoGo gave him and it fits him perfectly!

He is really enjoying the first few weeks of his school. They sing songs, learn lessons on their letters and colors, play on a playground and he even has a computer in his classroom. He is 3 and he knows how to turn it on, open the Sesame Street program and start using it! CRAZY! I thought Christian was always smart for his age but Andrew is one smart cookie. He may surprise us! He has such a big personality and is so funny and goofy but that kid is smart. Jim and I joke around that we may not have to pay for college with two super smart boys! Haha! :) 

Christian's first day of 3rd grade!

Christian started school a few weeks ago! The 3RD GRADE! WOW! 

3rd grade seems so BIG! I remember the 3rd grade and how much fun it was. He was so excited and ready to learn new things and see all his friends! His teacher, Mrs. Ulichnie is really nice and Christian likes her a lot. We had his open house and he picked a desk right in the front of the class. 

Can't wait to see what a great adventure awaits him in the 3rd grade!

Jim's Birthday Celebration!

Jim celebrated his 36th birthday this year! We were so glad to celebrate with all of his family!

Kimberly and the kiddos even made the trip up from Texas! We had a wonderful dinner at Mister B's Steakhouse! (Thanks Will and Alicia for taking this picture at dinner!)

On Jim's actual birthday, I made a yummy sugar free chocolate cake and we celebrated with the boys with a special dinner at home! The boys loved helping make the cake but putting on the sprinkles was their favorite part!

Build A Bear!

 Before school started, Christian REALLY wanted to take Andrew to Build A Bear to build his first teddy bear!

 Andrew loved picking out his bear and using the foot pedal to put stuffing in his bear!

 Christian wanted to build a bear too and they both picked out the hearts and made wishes!

 The boys had fun giving their bears their first baths!
