Christmas 2011!

Christmas Eve we headed to Van Buren to spend Christmas with our family!
Christian had a rough few days with asthma flare ups and Andrew had an ear infection but we still were able to enjoy our Christmas weekend!

Earlier in the evening on Christmas Eve, we went to my cousins new house, Joe and Tammy. We got to visit with my cousin Brad who was in town from Washington D.C. We had so much fun visiting, see their new house and the boys played with their dog Harley that I did not take any pictures! Argh!

When we got back to Pops and GoGo's house, Christian helped Aunt Kimberly sort all the gifts in piles for everyone to open!

Andrew went to bed before our gift opening began at 8pm! Christian was so excited to stay up later than his brother opening presents! Ha!

On Christmas morning, we all got up around 6:30am to see what Santa left for the kiddos!

Boy Scout Christmas party!

Christian's boy scout pack 525 had their December pack meeting and Christmas party this week!

They colored Christmas angels and made them into ornaments!

The wolf dens sang Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer!

The boys even did a gift exchange!

Christian has had a great year so far in cub scouts! He loves it and we are so blessed to have such wonderful den and pack leaders!

A year closer to 35...

This year, I got to celebrate my birthday on several different occasions! I am so blessed to have so many friends and family that make my birthday feel special, even with it being so close to Christmas! Jim's parents along with John, Will and Alicia came up to Northwest Arkansas and had dinner with us at Fred's Hickory Inn. It was a great steak dinner!

The next day, my girlfriends and I went to the movies to see "New Years Eve" (which was actually a good movie) and had dinner at Crabbys. We had such a great time at both dinners that I did not take ANY pictures. Yeah, I have been slacking, I know. The only picture I took (well, Mischelyn took it) from the whole weekend was this one...

At the Malco theater, there was a cardboard display advertising the upcoming 3D showing of the Clone Wars. It had cutouts in the cardboard characters so you could stick your head through. We were all amazed how real this picture looked. :) haha! Good times.

So this week, Andrew has been out of MDO. As of last Friday, he has also been in underwear. Operation "Bye Bye Diapers" is in full effect and going GREAT! Andrew really loves using the potty and each day he had fewer and fewer accidents! Yippee! We even went to lunch on birthday with Hope and he stayed dry through the whole thing! GO ANDREW!
Having a diaper free birthday was the best gift I could ever get! haha!
As of today, he is only having one accident a day!

My WONDERFUL trade desk gang even sent a cookie cake to my house in celebration of this great event...

How awesome and sweet of them! I literally devoured the whole thing in a few days. Cookies are by far my weakness and cookie cake is my FAVORITE!!!

Sharum Christmas 2011!

This past Saturday, Christian, Andrew and I headed to Uncle Rob and Aunt Janie's house for Sharum Christmas! Jim had his WMT Saturday morning meeting so he could not join us. :( Christian was so excited that he was up earlier than normal and running around with his Santa hat on!

All the cousins come in their jammies and have breakfast at 9am!

ARVEST1 Christmas party 2011!

I always love hosting the trade desk Christmas party each year! We always have so much fun and this year was no exception! Our current traders and alumni of the trade desk are always welcome! We missed the Cornetts this year since they recently moved to NYC. But Candace stepped up to the plate and provided a nice "picture" gift of Trent to follow in Rachel's footsteps.
We had lots of yummy food and enjoyed watching football, part of the Hangover, playing Wii and of course, our gift exchange. :)

I usually try to take pictures of everyone but this year I must have been a slacker. I was just having so much fun with good friends that I forgot to take very many pictures. Plus, Stephanie and I had a major case of the giggles. :) Thanks to all my trade desk crew who came to the party! Until next year!
